I was nine years old when an aunt gave me a miniature "Cameo" camera, a fascinating object in itself, as you can see from the photograph below. I immediately tried it out, and have been hooked on photography ever since. I have had no formal training but have learnt from experience; and since I took up painting I have applied new knowledge to the taking of photographs.
